History of Artist: Francis Paraison Francis Paraison migrated to the United States of America twenty four years ago from Haiti. His interests in art began at a very young age, and attributes this to the fact his mother always had art around the house, and a garage full of them. He began painting and selling them as early as the age of seven (7). He then had some professional training at "The French Institute of Haiti"; he now resides in Carnarsie Brooklyn and has about four (4) rooms full of his exotic paintings. France. England, Japan, Switzerland and Germany where he has displayed and sold many fine pieces of art . He has also been featured or mentioned in numerous publications both here in the US and in many of the countries he has traveled to including "The New Yorker" Magazine January, 18th 1988. Mr. Paraison likes his own work of Haitian art so much that there are some pieces he will never sell or part with
